- From a small town. His family ran a local store, making enough to put a hot meal on their plates, to buy books he wanted to read, to shower him with all the love a child would need. He studied at a average school, but achieved exceptional grades growing up.
- He was basically impeccable. Understanding towards adults, peacemaking with others of his age, never failing to get along with anyone. The adults of the town adored him, but those of his age remarked him to feel somewhat "off".
- Reading people was natural to him. From the way his mother held a cup of coffee, he could tell how well the sales were at the family store. From the way his father frowned at the newspaper, he understood if things are going well in the outside world. He responded to these cues masterfully, when to bring a cup of warm tea, when to stay quiet, when to provide comfort and encouragement.
